This place is amazing! Wonderful atmosphere and great drinks! The staff did bring us the wrong order but made up for it by the food being delicious! Highly recommend going during happy hour as the app’s and drinks are $5.00! Also try the Cuban Nachos! Won’t regret it

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food here. Seemed like a real authentic Cuban place. Three of us came in for brunch. We ordered shrimp and grits, huevos Havana verde and the '59 chopped with shrimp (mine). Everything was great. I am not a fan of chorizo, but it was surprisingly delicious. There were small crumbled bits of it in my salad, so it wasn't overpowering.The only complaint any of us had was that the bathroom was very dark and was not the cleanest. Also beware that people smoke cigars here. We sat in the no smoking side, but you can still smell it. I don't recommend coming here if you are allergic or very sensitive.

The food was amazing! They are fixing up the area out front for future outdoor seating. Wasn't able to see the upstairs area because a wedding had booked it for reception.

I was a little nervous goin here, but Connor is the GOAT OF ALL waiters!!! The food was PHENOMENAL, the cigar selection was on point, the music was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Not a bad thing to say about this place. My date& i was happy.

They said they have the "best mojitos" in Richmond...they do. They're delicious. You're in "Cuba" you can smoke cigars you can buy right there or are the cigar shop right across the plaza. Didnt get a chance to try the food but the bar was on point, the ambiance is 100% authentic with palm trees, building facades and outdoor eating areas. Definitely worth a visit if you dont mind cigar smoke.

Got the Cuban sandwich, was really good. Nice and open in the summers. Fun environment, dancing on Thursday nights is a must.

Food was great, service was sloppy. Had several wrong drinks brought to the table on different rounds, food took forever to show up, waited almost 15 minutes for the server to show up at the start.That being said, would probably go back to try more of the food. Wings, pork morsels, paella were all excellent.

Was there for a corporate even in the rooftop area. The food was really good. The bar service was very prompt and had a great selection of scotch and bourbon. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Laid back atmosphere with polite service and an excellent liquor menu, cigar smoking wasn't excessive, so I didn't feel like I was sitting in a room full of smoke. Good people, good conversation.

The mussels and the nachos, I can still taste them. The atmosphere is great with amazing decor. Be aware that the main dinning hall you can smoke in. I love the deck of cards on the table. We played while we waiting for our food.

This place is awesome, food, owner, the DJ on salsa Thursdays is real kool. The decor and atmosphere is spot on.

Good food. Great Service. and Amazing Atmosphere. We got a burger by some other name, nachos, and a couple coconut mojitos. They were all really good. Loved the open air feel when they are able to open all the windows and doors. Also there is a nice bar/lounge upstairs which is open air. I imagine it is banging on hot summer nights.

It's a very nice set up with great indoor and outdoor seating options. The menu selection fits well with the theme. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

As a Cuban-American whose father moved heaven and earth for his son to have opportunity, I love and appreciate these great privately owned local spots. It's difficult to explain all the challenges you experience throughout the day but it's nice having places like this to relax and recharge for another day of working hard and grinding away.

Try the Cuban nachos. And stop by the anterior to see the neon diver. Impressive food. Amazinginly accurate atmosphere. I felt like I was in Cuba.

If you like cuban food, this is the place to go in Richmond. Cigars are cheap and more or less authentic depending on what you get. The Ropa Vieja is a must try for steak lovers. Definitely recommended.

Attended a wedding here on the top floor. Beautiful venue. Everything I've eaten has been great. Still has a separate smokers bar where you can enjoy a cigar.

Good food, but not Cuban. The food flavor was delicious but notably untraditional for Cuban dishes and a little overpriced (sour cream on black beans? The main reason for 3 stars) I was also disappointed by the lack of dancing which is advertised as being a part of the atmosphere. Apparently Thursday is salsa dance night. But other than that it was alright. I won't be going again though.

Wanted to ever feel like you are an extra in the movie Scarface... Well then come on down to Havana 59! Place feels like an old timey spot in Havana, Cuba with some really tasty Cuban food! I ordered the Cubano and it was legit delicious! Only thing that is keeping me from not giving this place all 5 stars is the fact that they don't have beers on draft just bottles. But still a really neat little place and if you want to smoke a fat little cigar, you can do it right in the diner area! They do have a section that is smoke free as well so no worries if you don't like the smell of cigar smoke!

I go here regularly for happy hour and dinner. Also been for brunch. The food is fantastic. The Cuban nachos in particular are my favorite. Mojitos are excellent and service is always good. The atmosphere really rounds out the experience. Be ready so the smoking if you sit in the bar but when the windows are open and with their ventilation system its not that noticeable.

Really enjoyed coming here. We sat at the bar and had a cigar and a couple drinks before ordering food. I had the Cubano and it was incredible! I am definitely coming here again the next time I'm in Richmond. The bartenders were very knowledgeable about the menu. Fast friendly service. Very nice place.

Was visiting from Chicago. And this place was the only place on my mind all vacation. Amazing drinks and great outdoor patio with awesome music on Thursday. Would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to go dance.

Been here a few times now. Once for a birthday dinner (food was good). Once for drinks at the bar (also good). And the most recent time for the salsa lesson upstairs on Thursday nights (easy to follow along and fun). The lesson was great but the space was crowded. They should really cap the number of people they allow in that space. They do allow cigar smoking in this establishment so just be aware if the scent will bother you. Also my bill at the bar upstairs included gratuity already so just watch for that when you get your check.

This was my first time at Havana. It will not be my last!!! I loved the food, drinks, and the couple's that joined us. The atmosphere inside and outside was the best!!! I love what they did with 17 street market!!!!

Great place for a delicious cocktail and some yummy Cuban food. Friendly and courteous staff to serve you. Nice selections of scotch and bourbon also have good mojitos. Cigars can be purchased there although a limited selection. Good smoke ventilation so the non-smoker will not be offended.

The hubby and I rode our bikes through Richmond and had a superb lunch sitting outside ..Really some of the best Cuban food we have had and their fresh mojitos are the best ..

Great cocktails and appetizers. Nice wait staff who did a great job with our big group.
